No Phrase In The Bible Where God Is Pronounced Jesus

By Marci Glover

Christianity is such one kind of religion with a nature of its own, and with so many strange questions about the Bible revolving around currently, it leaves one wondering what the truth really is. The most common Biblical argument among so many Christians today is that God and Jesus are one. The truth is, there are no instances in the Bible where God is pronounced Jesus and there never will be.

There are things you need to know about Christ, one of them being that He is the son of God. The Book of John Chapter 3 and verse 16 clearly states that because of the love that God had for the world, He decided that He was going to give His only begotten son. It further state that whoever is going to have faith and believe in Christ would eventually have everlasting life.

Christ is the son of the Almighty and He is not the Almighty Himself. The Book of the Gospel of John speaks about Him and indicates that He is the one sent to save people from their sin through his death, crucifixion and resurrection. According to the Gospel of Matthew, Christ is to be called Emanuel, a Biblical name that means the presence of the Almighty revealed among humankind.

Christ has always been there for people to get the desires of their hearts fulfilled through the answering of their prayers. He is the bread of life that satisfies spiritual hunger and gives man hope for life where there seem to be none. The statement, I am the bread of life, is spiritual and it means that whoever will agree to let Christ in will never face spiritual hunger whatsoever.

When He dies on the cross, just before his burial, the soldiers said that he surely was the son of God. They did not mention that He was the Almighty who had come from heaven in form of human nature. When they tortured Him, they thought about His pretence and knew little about who He really was.

During the time of crucifixion, the Pharisees, Sadducees and the Teacher of the Law spoke among themselves and gossiped that He said He is the son of the Almighty. In their very words, they said that because he said He is from God, he should call the Almighty to come and save Him from the situation He currently was.

It is hard to believe that Christ was there before Abraham. The truth is that He was present at the time when God was making the foundations of the earth. When God said let us make man in our own image, he was addressing the heavenly beings and Christ was one of them. He took part in the creation and establishment of the universe.

The only thing that Christ came to do was to save humankind from the mistakes they make against the Almighty. This should be enough to give an explanation as to why He made the decision to die for your sins and is alive today. He remains the son of the Almighty.
