New York is definitely a home to many famous budding actors and actresses that the United States of America has seen. One of the blooming actresses that would come from this place would be none other than Natasha Murray Actress. However, before she became a known actress in some of the shows and movies that people see nowadays, she came from a very humble background.
In a nutshell, she is a performer who has acted in a lot of theater productions and has even starred in a few shows that were popular on television. Now just to give people an idea about her, she grew up in the West Indies and eventually moved to New York. There, she learned about the New York culture and also integrated some of it to her own original culture.
Now even when she was in elementary school, she already had a thing for acting as she enjoyed being on stage. Of course when she went to college, she did not take up a course in acting but she took up a course in Accountancy instead as that was something that could promise her a stable career. She studied Accountancy in Bernard Baruch College.
Because of her degree in Accountancy, she became an assistant controller in PlusFunds Group Inc. From there, she was able to land a job as an accountant in ExecuSearch Group LLC. Eventually, she left that job and became a finance manager at Jennison Associates until the year 2009.
Of course she eventually quit that job as she was offered a much higher position at the Gottex Fund Management. She was offered a position as a director in this firm because they saw her potential as an executive. She started working in this firm in the year 2009 and still continues to work there until now.
Aside from her degree in Accountancy, she also took up special acting classes in the Michael Howard Studios. She took up training from this Studio for one whole year and eventually signed up for the Summer Acting Conservatory program which is also in New York city. After her training, she immediately made it as a performer in numerous theater productions in her area.
It was only after some time that she was able to land a role in one of the most watched TV shows in the country which was none other than Law & Order Special Victims Unit. She also starred as the character known as Foxy in the crime show known as Adam. Until today, she still participates in stage plays like Intimate Apparel for the Steel River PlayHouse, In the Next Room, and even more.
Because of the things that she does, she was able to chase her dreams but at the same time have a very stable career. She is both an actress and also an accountant which makes her a very structured individual. She is one of the very few actresses who are able to pull off this kind of thing.
